Is there a certain day of the week that the IRS deposits taxes?

Not sure but it usually takes 2-3 weeks once you send info in. My wife is an accountant so she does ours on Turbo Tax and e files them or something of that nature. She already sent them in since I am getting a refund....However, I still paid way too much!

I filed on the 16th and i got my refund today. I think you are on the cutoff point for the next refund date. Go to www.irs.gov and check the "where's my refund" link.

I couldn't agree more. It's a rip off to file taxes.

You gave the government an interest free loan, they appreciate it.

Charitable donations and charitable contributions are the way to keep from having to pay in. Clean out the closets and shops and garages and give it to the Salvation Army.
