i don't know much about it, but are the fish affected only while the moon is up during the full moon?

I don't know if they are affected by the full moon other than the fact that the major tidal movement occurs when the moon is out. The tides are stronger during a full moon and new moons. Fish usually feed when the tide is moving and most people don't fish at night.

Let's plan something fellas. Late evening into the night type of trip I guess.

I think this would be fun!!! depending tide and the weather will determine the time to get out there.

I went out there for the first time Saturday that was pretty fun and quick run.

Guys.. Its over.. Tried making an afternoon trip.. ESE winds 10-15 Knots greeted us when I got to the bay...

The wind was blowinf the white cap off the top of the 2-3' s. Got to the pass .It wasn't any better... But I had a friend who doesn't get to fish often.. Made it to the reef.. Its gusting to 20 knots now..

We Fished about 30 minutes.. Nada... Headed back in to the pass.. Well saw a boat tied up toa channel marker.. WL&F was there.. Getting the peps off boat... I called on VHF... I agreed to tow their boat back to ICY..

Man, 2 hrs later. A thunderstorm hit us as we get into the 4 mile.. Lightning all over..

Made It to the landing. Get the broken boat to the Wharf.. It was raining sideways. Blowin 30-35 knots....... Finally got the boat on the trailer, 3 of us are soaking wet.

Winds will be blowing in the upper 20's for rest of week into next week..
