Default Need trout help in venice

We are going down for the first time to fish for specks out of Venice. We have snapper fished their before but never tried to catch specs. Looking for where to go depending on the wind conditions Any help would be appreciated. Feel free to pm me if need be. Thanks

Look for baitfish / shrimp or any other sign on structure. Drop offs, reefs, changes in bottom texture. Also other things like edges of current etc. can be structure as well (albeit subtle).

There's more to it than that, but that can get you started.
