hey guys i am new to the site and my buddy and i had a tuna trip planed for this weekend out of fourchon can any one point us in the right direction please like where and what on. thanks a lot

Man, I sure wish I could help you with this but that is why I go fishing w/Capt Josh. The only thing I know about tuna fishing is that it's a blast and that's why I keep going back for more.

awesome thanks for the any advice you can give. we got the boat ( 32' pro line twin 250s) and all the gear just havent been after tuna yet and i want to go mash them. Any other offshore species help would be nice also for a back up plan

Watch the weather.....I think its gonna be nasty this weekend. Fouchon is tough sometimes. Run for deep water, stop at some shrimp boats on the way. Water must be blue!!! Pick a floater and head to it, circle it a few times to see what's under it. Try jigging and trolling it.........sometimes they will push the bait off the floater a good ways, so always look for nervous water. Set up a drift and freeline cut bait......

Bring something to "trade" if you hit a shrimp boat and get as much if thier cull as you can for chum. Pull up behind the shrimp boat and drop some cull and see what comes up.
