Haynie builds a great boat, but they're not in the same class as an SCB, and they're not capable of negative prop slip ratios - as you've claimed previously in this thread. I think you just like to pretend that you know what you're talking about, or you just like to talk out of your butt.
BOOM!!! He won't ever take that bet he knows any scb will blow him away. In his mind haynie is superior to all. Untill he buys something else.

Let's keep this thread from becoming a war which appears to be where it is heading. Corky taking on W is fine, just do it in the gill net, please.

Thank you.

By the way, I would love to see SCB make a V hull type boat like the Haynie HO. I know Eric was working this earlier in the year but I heard it was on hold. I would certianly consider buying this boat. SCB makes some if not the fastest bay boats I have seen. I own a Haynie that is faster than W's (when it works) and I would not even think about racing any SCB.

All of this talk about Merc vs Yammy SHO is worthless until you get two identical boats each with a different motor on it to compare. I have a 250SHO on my BlackJack and I know how fast my boat is but my boat is heavier than most. Comparing the speed of a BlackJack to a Haynie isn't realistic since the Haynie is so much lighter. The only way is to get a Haynie with a SHO to go headsup against a Haynie with the Merc. Until done it is all just in theory. Each to his own.
