Yes you can use leathal force to defend another if you believe that persons is in fear of their life or great bodily harm. Great bodily harm is the best sentence in our self defense law as it leaves so much grey area providing its a one sided story with any physical evidence that supports the living persons story. Make sure only your story gets told.

Duckman, I hope the prosecutor never gets a hold of this post if you have to shoot someone in legit self-defense. Not leaving a paper trail is important too. Try and keep your real id separate from your duckman1911 persona. You have no idea the evil of which prosecutors are capable.

All I know is I forgot to log out of SC before I left my work computer and when I checked SC the next day someone pretending to me had typed that. I think it was Bob and wouldnt you know it he also quit his job late yesterday. .hehehe
