Default Decisions, decisions

Headed to Big Lake after work with the kayak to try late afternoon-early evening fishing, but unsure where to go.
I've thought about launching out of Hebert's and heading south towards Commissary, trolling on my way down.....

...or launching at the last boat ramp near the jetties and trolling along the ship channel to the jetties.....

...or launching off the beach near the jetties and going out a couple hundred yards and troll parallel to the beach.

Thoughts?

There has been a few fish on the south end of the channel... I'd go with Option B

Have been catching quite a few reds off the jetties lately. Sure the trout are there as well.

I went to the beach and fished the east jetty 530-830 with outgoing tide. Caught one speck and a monster red that pulled me around for several minutes.
