Default Bayou AMY?

Has anybody ever fished bayou Amy near Henderson? I have fished Henderson all my life but never even put in at Amy. I see that there is a nice launch there too. Any particular areas people look for or water levels?

Water levels stay pretty consistent throughout the year. And relatively shallow. But it's stays kinda muddy all the time. Lots of catfish. I know some people catch sacalait in there but it's tough fishing in my opinion. Being over 20 miles long it hard to say what areas are best. I usually head towards catahoula from Henderson launch.

Yeah I noticed it normally looks muddy. Wasn't sure what it looked like towards Catahoula however.

About 5 years ago, I stayed at the lil campground there and threw out about 3 dozen jug lines. Loaded the ice chest with catfish.
