Default 1 Man Blind Needed

We have a 3 man pit blind at our lease right now. It seems we are constantly running in to times that we need a 4th spot for a kid or something. Normally the smallest person will hunt in the dog box.

I was wondering if someone might have some form of a 1 man blind that we can bury next to our pit blind to have a 4th spot. Looking for pretty cheap or free. Just paid the lease money for the year so the budget is tight. Maybe trade for a goose hunt? Let me know.

If you can get your hands on a plastic drum, make you a 1-man blind similar to this one. Cheap, very easy, and comfortable.

Can you build a seat in the barrels or do you use a stool?

The 2x12 on the back is the seat. If your pit is on a levee in a field. It would be challenging to get this to the same elevation as the pit. Would be a little higher and require more grassing.

If you need to make a one man blind just poke him in the eyes with a roseau.

Looks good. Same style blinds we build as well. I need to use that method for dog stand though. We use plywood and by end of season it's always busted up and gotta be careful stepping on it to get in blind.

Leave 2x4's on ends long to anchor blind, toe nail ones in middle to support bench and shelf
