Default Double Reed VS Single Reed Calls

I like a call that's raspy, soft and easliy manipulated.

You may persuade some birds to swing back around with a little hail call but from my experience these birds that "Come Back" are not that far away.

These are a couple reasons I blow double reed calls and hate every Arkansas style call I have blown.

What do y'all prefer?

I don't see nothin wrong with it. I'm no expert though, just a guy.

I hear you don't even need calls if your decoys are positioned right - J Hook son!

I like a straight up ten second 1 note hail call right off the bat...

Haydel VTM-90 is a good call as well. Basically same thing as the DR-85 but it's black and has a hole drilled such as the Primos Wench to get a variable tone.
