Default Bassmasters

Well, after reading the rules for the bassmasters open next weekend, I feared this would start. Double barrel canal in black Bayou is now barracaded. I had plans of going to the weigh in. Not anymore.

Unrelated: I fished the Burns twice this week. There were some Bass pros who had launched at the Gibbstown and were parked there. Hunter Shyrock was one.
Don't know who this was.

If you read the rules, it's evident they know the issues in Louisiana.

I think he was referring to the guy in the blue truck.

I guess they can launch in Orange and run the ICW to get into the Burns. Since you have to have a permit to fish the Burns does this restrict "all" of the Bassmater fishermen from going in since maybe all of them haven't bought a permit to be in these private waters? Will they have a 25HP boat and motor waiting for them at Gibbstown? Isn't there a restriction on having tournaments in the Burns?

There are other places to fish down there besides the burns.
