I have a Chien Caille. I started out with a Primos shaved speck. I suggest one of those if you are a beginner. They break easy and you learn how to use your hands. You can also blow the call softly. This is hard to do with alot of calls. They are 10 to 20 bucks. I saw one at Cajun fast mart is Carlyss. The Chien Caille is 60 bucks with the DVD showing you how to use the call. They are top of the line. Best sound out there. Durable and tuned out the box. If it breaks they will fix it without question. All those competition calls like redbone can't hold a tone to Chien Caille. The geese here are way to spooky to be blowing a half a$$ call.

I got a Mack's Prairie Wing catalog a few days ago. It had pages and pages of water fowl calls.

Looked like most of them cost $150++.

I have a buddy in Lake Arthur that makes calls. He is a guide at Doug's Hunting Lodge. Look him up in the phone book, Dusty Simon.

not sure of exact price, he has some new ones out but i think his website is up. ricelandcustomcalls.com. i think they're anywhere from $100-$200 bucks but they'll make it exactly how you want it and tune it for as well, not to mention give you some tips
