how far are the eugene island rigs from the berwick boat landin? runnin about 35. an hour? just straight down river right?

It would probably be best if you pulled the boat down to Burn's Point to launch.

If you are talking about the Atchafalaya it is not that straight of a shot and gets very tricky as does the Wax when you get to the mouth. Also when you hit the Gulf you will be much closer to the Ship Shoal rigs than Eugene Island.
