Default Maybe my luck is on the upswing!

I posted a thread a month ago....It's below

*****I have had a string of bad luck for the past few weeks now. This morning put the effing cherry on top. Trolling on the river, trying to clear my head and enjoy myself for once, hit a stump and over the front I went. Beat up my shin and cut up my feet. There's a curado 200dhsv on a Berkeley rod at the bottom now. I was so pissed I left, after being on the water for 30 minutes I figured nothing good would come out of staying. Hope everyone has a great Easter.

Today was the first day I have been on the water since. The first place i went to was where I fell in....looky what I got!

If the reel was anything but a Shimano...all you would'a got was a rod.

Have reeled up an abu garcia C3 with barnacles mounted on a junk rod so I kinda cleaned the reel up and sent it in to get re-done. The company just sent me a brand new reel instead. Was pretty nice get a free $80 reel.

If only I would have known where it was.. I'd have been diving for that thing. We find all kind of crap. Oakleys, Costa's, etc. Hell I lost a pair for raybans yesterday.
