heres my cp honey hole for ya/./...what we called the north shore..outtta quintanna..take a right..head towards shark bayou..fish that north bank all the way to blue point...we always do well ther when tides and wind s are right..some times they are close in..sometinmes they are quite a ways off the bank..there is a shell oyster reef near the bank..about 1/3 of the way towards blue pt..right after a small inlet in the bank..always caught there..a 7.2 lb trout was caught there which won the star 2 yrs ago..we used to troll up and down and do pretty well

Thanks for the tips but plans change Bring the boat to Don's boating landing so I can change out the Boat Trailer Bunk Carpet..should be a quick project

Put some Gulf Wax on the carpet after you change it out, it will slicken them up real good.

Just got back from CP fished right outside the launch by the rocks only one spec, and alot of BIG crockers, also a lot of undersized drum and reds..I really need to get a GPS

So I had the boat in the water today and notice the boat outboard was smoking pretty bad all day, Can my automatic oil mixer be bad?

it cud be or ur spark plugs may need to be replaced. or check ur carb.

moibil it has the one with squeexe bottle u gotta buy the tube with hose which does not sell together....

i changed my bottom unit oil and check to see if there no white type of oil which can tell u that u got a leak and its not seal up good tha water does get in it somehow but if u dont see any white type of color then ur aiigh. i used the bottle that u can put on a tube and plug it in the hole and squeexe the bottle to fill it back up.

Go to a boat dealer or Academy or Wal Mart and get some lower unit oil. I believe it is 90 weight

If I were you I would look up how to disconnect the oil pump and mix your gas and oil in the tank. People always told me I should do that and I planned to, then I burned up my motor when it went out one night on my way back to the prien launch...Not a good feeling

just pulled the plug and the spark plug was wet with oil...any clue?

spark plug threads are wet with oil, the spark plugs where not on all that tight can that be the cause of the oil?
