Default ATV problem

I have a honda rancher that is giving me trouble. It will start fine but then die at idle. After it dies it will not start again until you let it sit for a day or two and then the same routine. Any suggestions?

Might have a carb build-up... might need to take it (carb) apart and run some clean (new) gas through it. If it starts, all electrical and spark is normaly out of the problem. So now, you gotta look at fuel. I've had to tear a few of my bikes down over the past few years... from sinking them in ponds to whatever... i know my way around a rancher and a foreman... got any more questions PM me.

I agree.
When was the last time it ran, and did it run good back then?
If shouldn't be an electrical problem, if it was, it would cool off quicker than a few days.
