Brew What is your take on the Garmin 620s w/ Blue Chart

What do you guys think of this marine/auto GPS Garmin 620s w/ Blue Chart g2 vision card. I like the clarity and the depth contours that it shows for around 500 dollars. I have Gen 2 HDS 7 combo but was looking add a dedicated chartplotter, or should I just go with Gen 2 HDS 5 with Insight US and add whatever cards I need?

Input would be appreciated!

I just upgraded to from the Lawrance Mark5 to the Garmin 740 charter plotter as my main navigation unit on the console. So far I like the graphics and features, but have not had it in the water yet. I am going to mount my Lawrance on the bow of my boat next to the trolling motor for fishing.

From what I have heard and read, everyone says if you need the device for navigation more so than fish finding then the Garmin is the way to go, but if you prefer better graphics for fishing then the Lawrance is the way to go.

Good luck on your choice
