You will need 3 days after a front for the conditions to come back.

Bay is looking better than yesterday, Salinity is on the way up, and the winds will be calm through Sat. We should have a real good weekend!

Water muddy. Had about 10 boats at trash pile. Didn't see a fish caught and we didn't get a bite

Water muddy all over. Covered quite a bit of water for not much to show for it. Wind was a lil stiffer than I expected. Cove was dirty, hammock dirty, dry reef dirty, pass dirty, tbutte dirtier,Only decent water we found was in sharks and a lil spot around mud pt. Got there late after checking everywhere else, and found 30 boats shoulder to shoulder.

I also found muddy water everywhere this afternoon. Couldn't even see my rod tip in the water. Tried by the camps nothing, hit some banks in shark bayou pretty good nothing, hit the cove pretty good one hardhead. Glad I made it out though got to run my new boat for the first time. Hopefully the fishing picks up

have said, dirty pretty much everywhere....wind was stronger than predicted of course! We did manage to find a handful a fish before the boats got too thick around Mud Point. My 7-year-old caught his first trout and was pretty pleased with himself, lol! Really nice day and very relaxed fishing as we anchored and would catch 1-2 every so often as the fish made their run by. My fishing buddy caught a nice red as well.

I'm sure mud point will have 90 boats Saturday morning. Hopefully someone can pick some up somewhere else so it won't be too packed

I was wondering where all the 100 boats in the lot were... figured there or the pass with this lack of wind. Keep hearing we are 2-3 weeks behind last year. Last year this week/last week was on fire.

Was thinking bout going this weekend till I looked at the tide chart. Almost no tide saturday and sunday. Back to busting up the bass in the basin.

Water was still pretty murky in the cove this morning. Not even a bite at the cove or shark bayou. That's as far as the kayak was willing to take me..wish I woulda been in a boat tho the water was smooth as glass.
