........bought a gun......shotgun, rifle or anything and just put it in the safe, closet, gun case and never even used it?

hawk...if it's an american arms......do yourself a favor........shoot the thing....they are nice little pieces

I grew up with my dad buying guns and never even loading them. He has a 2 millionth edition A5 that has never even been put together.!!!

I just like guns............they smell good.

Yep, it's a North American Arms 22 magnum, it still has the tag from the gun shop, maybe I'll hang it from my tree as an ornament this year. I'm worried it'l jump right out of my hand if I try to shoot it, and I don't want to buy a bunch of 22 ammo just to shoot it, but that would be a good excuse to buy another gun.

To each his own, I don't buy anything unless it's going to get used, much less a gun.

I like them too, and they do smell good - but that burnt powder smells so much better than plain, cold steel IMO!
