Default Left over Ham in some white beans

I dug some left over Easter ham outa the freezer and made a pot of white beans they shore was good.

It's the south La. way aint it Cappy....Them yankee's don't know what they miss'n out on...I always throw in just a lil spoon of roux in mine....

Mama usta do that too buba I cant cause Peg is allergic to flour. I was really surprised to find around here folks eat fried fish with their white beans I do it now on occasion my self.

You talk about leftovers ,,, I grew up eating leftover fried fish and shrimp for breakfast.....and yes fried fish goes great with beans.....
