Default Friday Night Fish Fry

Last night I fried some catfish for dinner along with some boudin balls. We had cole slaw and steamed zucchini and squash for sides.

Had a few ice cold Abita Golden to help while making dinner. There were some dark heavy rain laiden clouds rolling in wileIs frying.

Catfish done!

Crawfish and regular boudin balls. The crawfish versiion was not that great!

Served! Texas toast as well as homemade jalapeno tartar sauce.

looks good---real good. we'll be frying some next week end. Memorial day is a big family holiday for us, guess because it kicks off the summer. i'll also be making some fish balls. started using rice as the filler, they ain't bad.

Thumbs up

Looks like you like a little kick to your food, ala, the jalapeno tartar sauce, I recommend next time you do a coleslaw, wake it up, add some Tiger Sauce to it. Gives it a little different color, and talk about good!
