Default Home Cookin like Maw Maw

Garlic stuffed venison roast slow cooked with onion, bell pepper and potato, over rice with sauteed sweet snap peas with slivered almonds and mac and cheese(home made). just me and Mama. all the kids have gone home and the Memorial day week end has calmed down. i'm done. if Maw Maw had of done it, Paw Paw would have had a saucer of steens on the side to dip his bread in.

It looks amazing and I love cooking the old ways. We were poor and I was pretty old fore I ever had an almond. We used pecans instead.
