Default Buzzbaits for redfish ?

I was watching something on the Outdoor Channel last night. The title of the show was "The Guide" or something with the word "Guide" in it. They were using what I think was a buzzbait in the shallows for redfish. Anyone ever tried this ? I know for a fact BASS love buzzbaits, and the characteristics and behaviorabilities between the 2 are somewhat the same. Think this would work ? I'll try it this Friday when I fish with Ray.

WHAT!!!!!!!!!! They will crush a buzzbait! Use the cheapo's, they will destroy them, almost tie them in a knot.

You will only catch one or two per bait if the jig head is attached like a traditional bass buzz bait. The Bayou Thumper is a good design. But yes they WILL hit it, hooking them is another problem.

Don't use the lunker lure brand. I had a redfish rip it in half. That being said, they do work well for redfish.

Redfish will hit anything you throw at them, literaly anything when their feeding. We mess with customers all the time when we're catching them good and just throw a bare leadhead. And trout will also hit a buzzbuit but dont plan on filling up the icechest with one.
