Default Powerpole or Talon?

Looking to buy one soon but didn't know which is better. Probably gonna go with an 8ft because I'll also have the ipilot link for deeper water. Will be put on my 22ft Xpress. Any suggestions?

talons are louder, break more, and dont hold as well. Powerpole customer service is second to none also. Ive had a pp since 09 and the couple of times I had problems they were very helpful and even sent me replacement parts quick and free of charge.

Well looks like its a powerpole for me. I'm smart enough to learn from other peoples mistakes. I'm looking at the 8ft Sportsman.

My buddy had a Talon on the boat he bought, fished with it less than 2 months and switched to a PowerPole…said the Talon was junk when I was asking the same question as you.
