Default 11/23: Rock-n-Roll

Rollover: slow since cold weather hit

Rockefeller: Tried the East side of Rock wanting to test a theory. A couple years ago I nailed some Specs on the Southern stretch. Tried a couple spots for Specs, nada, then gave up and started fishing for Reds. They wanted moving water, and shrimp and touts. Lost 1/2 dozen Reds due to rocks and cables(ahhhh...hint-hint) Also found some Puppies and Catfish. The crabs were everywhere and hungry and I kept a dozen. Even caught a couple on touts. One huge crab was attacked by a redfish while I was reeling it in, never seen that before. My crab had ahold of him for about 10 seconds, then they both took their fight elsewhere.

Ohh.... East side, 1 boat trailer / Me
West Side, 3 boat trailers around 11:30 AM
Lots of freshwater, locks open

I'd like to go today, 11/25. Let me see, "small craft advisories", strong East wind (no beach protection), every lock and drain in Vermilion and Cameron Parish open with flooding fresh waters, 3 1/2' tides, therefore.......I might could target some Sand trout....woooo hooooo.

Or I could go crabbing
