Cheers Trout Bite is On a Roll

We started out the morning fishing in 4-6 ft depths. Water temp was 67 degrees. First cast produced a 15 inch trout on a Tiger Bait Matrix Shad 18 inches under a cork. We caught 40 trout before the bite slowed. Tiger and C-Sea Shad did the damage under a cork. After a short move to a area I've been wanting to check out, we were back on the trout. We fished the mouth of a bayou draining out in 3-6 ft depths. The fish wanted the baits presented coming up current. Tight lined and under a cork produced. We finished off our limit just after 9am. After Leaving the fish biting, we went soak some bait shrimp on 1/4 oz jig heads on bottom. We added a couple pup drum, bay snapper and flounder. An incredible day to say the least. Thanks Capt T for putting the trip together.
