Cheers Friday Trout Slam

Jim Green with Gator Valve was back with me today with a good friend. We started fishing in 5-7 ft depths under a cork. We found a slow bite and picked away at the fish. We made a short move and started fishing 3-5 ft depths with the water temp averaging 67 degrees. We switched over to tight lining 1/4 ounce jig heads with the Tiger Matrix Shad and started smoking the trout. If you weren't catching a fish you were missing a fish. When the bite slowed down, we were off again. Our next stop found the fish stacked up and it was "game on"! Tight Lined slowly worked best, but we still caught a few under a cork. The K2 filled up quickly as it was a good steady bite. A slow retrieve worked best as the fish did not want the bait twitched. Thanks guys for another incredible day of catching and for the repeat business.
