So I am looking at possible going offshore this weekend, if the weather is good. Has anyone been lately? Specifically targetting ling, trying to figure out if anyone has had any luck lately and if so how far out where you?

It is because of the squalls in the gulf... Your best weather predictions will come from the morning of. Naturally the gulf gets smoother toward Venice Bc of the gulf stream. Right now right now in Cam blocks I am getting 1ft @ 7 seconds

W, Thanks hopefully I am able to find a few fish
