Default Star Model B Super

I'm purchasing a Star 9mm Model B super. It's A 1911 style gun but WWII surplus pistol. Any of you guys have experiance with these firearms? I've read mostly good reports but just curious anyone here familar? They're around $250-$300

No experience with that particular model. I do have a Star .45 I inherited. The gun is also a Surplus military pistol. I have been pleased with the performance with no issues. http://star-firearms.com/firearms/guns/p/ has been quite useful for finding parts, additional mags, etc.

Nice looking weapon.... Am not familiar with the Star model. However, I do own two Colts 1911. Both are .45. Inherited the second one....

This is a 1911 look alike, cheap surplus $250 with shipping and FFL $300 so far i like it, I've had a few FTF but thats with winchester white box, I was told I need a hotter round and if that doesn't work order a recoil spring from wolff for $8. all in all it's a accurate fun shooter, I won't rely on it for personal protection I have others for that. It was manufactured in 72 and looks to be shot little to not at all.

I'd love a "true" 1911 but the price it steep so I'll settle for the wanna be for now! LOL
