Default Toldeo - Sacs

Heading up to the bend tomorrow to try my hand at some sacs. Has anyone been doing any good? I'm hearing they haven't moved all the way up to the shallows as of yet. If someone could point me in a direction, I'd appreciate any help. I plan on fishing up North.

Thanks. Josh

I would long line troll / spiderrig the weedbeds / weedlines in 8-18 ft of water until you hit some and then try to pick up some more pitching to that area

Black / chart, white / chart, green / chart were the killer color's last year

With today's and the next few day's warm weather dont pre-sume that nothing is shallow. If there are not some real shallow then they are getting close.

Good luck, shoot me a pm and let me know how you did.

We were in San Miguel last weekend. Did real well on the catfish. Hit a spot and picked up seven keeper bass. But we didn't fish much. Mostly ran lines.

San miguel action should heat up with temps climbing. Solid stringers coming from that area right now (bass). Dont hesitate to hit up areas around the state park and 1215.

Head south, probably better off trailering around to the Indian mounds launch. Go south on the Texas side toward Six Mile, fish Sandy creek area.

Well, we ended up with 13 sacs. It just wasn't happening for us or anybody else around!! Highlight of the morning was the 5.8# bass my brother in law caught. Fished around the 1215 area, state park and some of the main lake.
