Default Lake Vernon

I have never been on Lake vernon before and will be fishing there in 2 weeks any information on what to look for to catch some bass would be appreciated got a kids tournament and want to be around some fish if i can so my son can catch somthing

Bass are going to be still in spawning / post spawning mode at that time, Work the shorelines of coves with watermelon colored worms / lizards / brush hogs texas rigged, Also white / black spinnerbait works well as a reaction bite.

If you are putting in at the public launch at the spillway, I would recommend heading across lake and fishing the shorelines of the first cove. Work the brush around the docks hard, and hit all the little pockets in the vegetation.
