47 F at 5 AM. That's not bad at all. In fall and early spring in Colorado, it was routinely below freezing for the first hour or so of trout fishing in the mornings. It warms up quick and you learn to live with it. The hardest part is getting your hands wet for various tasks, and I'm not any good with gloves while hunting or fishing.

We're still working to figure out the fishing in the basin, but once we do, I don't think the cold is gonna hold us back.
