FlagUS 6/1/2016 Calcasieu River DogFights

1st place was won with 3 fish. They had a 4lb 9oz kicker to get them to 8.13lbs

2nd Place was Todd Jeffers and Chris Breaux with a 5 fish limit of 7.91lbs

3rd Place had a 5 fish limit of 7.13lbs

We were not able to continue our winning streak. We caught at least 25 fish and missed a good bit more. It rained on us for 90% of the eve. They were eating buzz baits for us but we couldnt get but 1 fish over 12 inches. All in all we had a great evening on the river. The lightning stayed away and we caught alot of fish on topwater.

Thanks for posting this. I don't do Facebook so I miss out on a lot of local fishing info, tournament results, etc.
This is great.

I would have to view it as donating $50 to a good cause.

When Ron was running the Thurs dogfights in Henderson we would get as many as 70 boats. Lots of fun back in the day. 1986-2000.

I fished them dogfights for years. Lacassine , calcasieu, Sabine and mermenteau. I didn't realize they were still going. Won a lot of money fishing them.
