Default Big Lake Sat & Sun

Went out Saturday morning. Got a bit of a late start. Sun was already peeking over the horizon. It was a cool crisp dawn with a light northeast breeze. First spot I️ hit had fish on it. I️ caught 4 or 5 really quickly and then when the sun came up good, the bite died. Water was really clear and I️ thought maybe the sun killed the bite. Never seen this on big lake before but I thought, maybe so. So I️ let my bait got to the bottom, dragged it really slowly and boom! That?s how they wanted it. I️ mean slammed on the bottom and barely moving. That continued till about 9:30 until the tide quit and they shut down. Only needed two more so, went ride around and stumbled into a few birds. Two more trout on them and done by 10:30. Lil Jons.

Sunday I️ had good panda, Addictedtofishin, jump in. He brought his skitterwalk and was determined to use it. So we headed out early and I️ was gonna show him just how to do it with my lil Jon. It only took about a grand total of, one trout to smoke his skitterwalk for me to pull off that lil Jon. Took us almost till about eleven to get our thirty and it was a blast. Most on topwater. Some fatties in the mix.
