Default smoked them on lake P 11Nov14

Well finally was able to link up with fellow SaltyCajun memeber and we smoked them, what a day.

Started at a fish balls and we boated 20ish trout in no time.

Picked up and moved to the causeway, but we arrived at the hot spot to late and watched as another boat loaded up on large 3+ lbs trout but... before the bite ended we was table to land two very nice trout.

Went back to the fish balls and was able to get back on the school and finish up with 3 less than our limit, what a day

This is my half of the fish

Yes if you look close you can see three very nice white trout, we guestamate they went about 2lbs each.

Hard to see the scale, but she went right at 21"

Thanks, going to see if those same fish are in a frenzy today feeding right before the front comes through! Hope to battle some of the big girls while we're at it!

When I cleaned the fish, I noticed none of them had anything in their belly's... odd... unless they threw up what they were eating at some point while we were reeling them in.

So, I am in North Carolina for the birth of my first grandson and what your thoughts about the current trout bite? Do you think they will still be around in early Dec?

Thoughts?

I was using multiple colors of matrix. I did not see any particular colors work any better than others.

Thanks, he looks just like his father and cannot wait till he is old enough to fish.

Not sure why the pics are not showing. They're posted via photobucket.
