Default Big Lake 11/13

Scoped out VB yesterday afternoon and decided I need to make run to the West this morning. I couldn't convince anyone to come with me so I rolled solo. Hit BL at dawn and was the only truck in the parking lot at Calc Point. Ran to turners and drifted the white caps without success. Made a run south and picked up a flounder and the little guy at the mouth of Long Point Bayou. Decided around 1 I had enough and started to make my way in. Figured I would give Turners another shot before I called it a day. Found these fat boys feeding on mullet. Caught most on a soft dine and the last two on a Corkey, purple and chart. Water level was really low everywhere 1 1/2 to 2'. Caught these in about 3' once the tide had come in some. What a miserable day of fishing, I enjoyed it.

Glad to see your persistence paid off; fishing in those conditions requires a lot of moxie!
