Default The Good, the bad, the ugly!!!!!

Well, with only a couple of days off for "who knows how long", I went down to Big Lake to spend a couple of days w/my bride. My plan was to return on Monday morning after enjoying the beverages at Cocahoes on Sunday evening.

We got a late start on Saturday, but it did not matter. The wind sucked as usual for me and fishing Big Lake, the water looked like dirty toilet water, except on the SE side of the lake. We managed to pick up 5 trout, and had trolling motor problems. I later found one of my 3 batteries on my trolling motor system decided to die. We had a great time together in the boat and spent some time together on the water, which may be far and few between this year.

We woke up this morning and had a bad feeling wehn the wind was gusting at 16knts at 5am. I cooked breakfast and told her it was up to her what to do, which she promptly crawled back in bed!!! Well, by 8am my phone was ringing and I was needed back to work w/o getting 2 days off after all, so we packed up and hauled butttt. It was worth the trip just to get my hands on some slime and run the boat. It's amazing how much stuff goes wrong with them when they sit up!
