Can anybody point me in the right direction for trout. West Cove? Turners? Shoreline from Long point to Turners?

I'm pulling all the way from Abbeville. I know the weirs are full of reds. What color, soft plastic, or surface plugs etc? Come on guys it's the standard questions that any friend would ask who hasn't fished since 12/1/10.
