Default No Guts No Gators

Took Hayden across the river this morning to add a little to his bucket.
Traffic leaving LC was backed up like nine miles of bad plumbing which added to the excitement. First line had a 6' on it and we left it to search for more. Second line had an 8' and Dow did the quick draw on him.......twice! On the fourth line it was Hayden's turn to get busy and after some coaching from Carl he squoze off One round from the Remington Speedmaster 552 instantly dispatching the cold blooded prehistoric beast. After checking several more lines we found our biggest gator of the morning, a 9 footer that was very docile. He also succumbed to the deadly shooting of Hayden "1-Shot" Little. Finished up with a couple more 6' and called it a morning. He should get his hide back sometime next year to hang above his bed. Hope someone tells him how lucky his dad was to be on his first gator hunt together.

Good job Hayden, a shame your dad can't shoot that good. You can take Barrys place from now on when we shoot flyers.

Awesome! Other afternoon I am standing outside my camp in PI and Liz from Swamp People pulls up. We see her all the time during teal season cause she's filming for Swamp People. One of our trucks was blocking her and she couldn't get out pulling her boat full of gator blood. She said, "ya'll been shooting some ducks?" I said oh yeh. You been killing some big gators or what? She said, "That baby, I always do." Some guy starts yelling "Choot em!" She started laughing and said, "I could do without that choot em crap though!" Turns out her camera man from somewhere up north with his wife and kid were staying in camp next door to us for gator season filming for upcoming season. She would pick him up in the mornings and drop him in the afternoons. One guy told me that a family came down a while back from Canada with his kids in a Winnebago to Pecan Island just to find Liz so his kids could meet her! Crazy!
