Put the reefs about 1/4 mile off. We will see how many can fish a mud reef in the middle of the lake.

guess I'll be one............
How else does a guy learn a new spot?

One or you guys interested in taking a Big Lake rookie?
Should I hire a guide a dew times a year at different times?

I do understand about new guys coming into your spots, but sure as heck, guys from your areas are looking for a "new" place.

or, should we all be stuck to say, a 50 mile radius from where we caught our first trout??

Not everyone looking to fish a new area is an idiot.

But not every fisherman is an idiot, but quite a few idiots are fisherman.

well, i can remember 6 months ago when the people on this site were all high and mighty about the fact that they didn't bash fellow fishermen. I guess it is not the site that makes the people but the people that makes the site. you big lake guys are some stand up guys. i guess when you don't have the confidence to know you can catch more fish than others you try to keep others off "your" spots.
