Default Berwick Bar Pits 3/25/12

My sister got married in December and I've been showing the new Brother-in-Law around the area. He is getting bit by the fishing bug BAD. I've shown him some of my spots and he got a small flat boat and goes every chance he gets now. I've explained to him that he does not have to keep every fish he catches but you know how it is when you first get started.

These fish were all caught in the Berwick Bar Pit Sunday in just a couple of hours before lunch. The water in the Bar Pit is VERY clean and full of grass. If something is not done about the grass soon there will be no way to access this area during the summer. All fish were caught on a Fluke and a frog. I imagine anything fished weedless would catch in here but like I said the grass is a real problem so we just fish what we can. There are some monster Bream in this Bar Pit as well as nice Bass. I hope the Grass does not mess it up so no one can fish it.
