Default Olmstede Shipyard

I'd bring it to Max at Olmstede shipyard. This man can do some fantastic fiberglass work. I'd say somewhere in the neighborhood of $500

It happened to me too.....this year doing that poker run longside was posting about......big nail sticking out of dock and there were 2 to 4 boats tied to mine at any time.......tide was coming in, so rub rail came over the dock and had 3 boats plus mine pushing my boat into that nail.......

If u haveca dock y would u have metal bolts not covered or nails hanging out. Boats are not cheap. If I would have known there was a uncovered bolt I would have tied off in another slip.

bet i know what they will say

btw, that does suck. you could just gelcoat over it and sand it smooth but it may be tough to match color/exact texture.

The price will depend on several factors. Depth of scratches, overall area of scratches and how much blend room there is in the area. It's an easy fix from what I can see though. It may be a little costly though.

PM me if there's any ?'s you have on it.

Default Repair

Had some fiberglass work done about a year or two ago in Lafayette, my gelcoat damage looked more extensive and deeper than yours. Involved two different type of glitter colors as well as white. Cost $1500.00 which was covered by insurance minus my deductable. As Southern said there are many variables here. A good fiberglass man will make it right and you won't even notice where previous damage was done.
