Default New To Cajun Land

Hello everyone,
So I am new to the site and to the area and wanted to get a feel for things. I am living in Missouri right now (Air Force) but moving to Lake Charles in Feb. My wife and kids already live there about a mile from Prien Lake. Looking forward to some good Red Fishing, been one time when I was younger down in FL so can't wait. Well look forward to meeting and talking with you all..

That feeling will go away pretty quick! Those west-siders are..."Different!"

In all seriousness, you'll love it anywhere in the southern part. You'll also likely be overwhelmed with the amount of advice that you'll get and the likely offers to jump on a boat with someone...

SE is still the way to go!

Well, welcome to LA. However, you will probably get a few more invites if you change that screen name! lol * Nothing against you, we just think old Nick is a trader!

If you enjoyed redfishing in FLorida, you are in for a treat my friend! - Not to bash Florida or yank our chain, but our inland fishing is way better. We may not have snook and tarpon, but your pole will get yanked on a regular basis on this end of the state.

Man if Sulphite was here, he would ask you to be his new best friend. But he's kinda tied up right now with a 5 hour old baby. Welcome to site.
