Got out there early this morning in hopes to get back before the wind....paddled to the MRGO damn and after drifting around the north side for an hour or so, we decided to try the south side. The fish were there waiting on us and were hitting anything with Chartreuse. Started throwing top pups and caught some larger fish but eventually switched to tsunami's and bull minnows. 3 people - 3 limits and a couple dozen white trout. That 1.5 mile paddle in was pretty easy by the time we came back with that 20mph wind straight down the canal.

I agree w/ you HH. Allthough we found some good size wish in there, I'm not sure if it's a chance I'll be taking in the tourny we have coming up... I'm sure I won't make up my mind until that Saturday morning.
