Outboard Warning Beeps
Oil level is fine Motor is not over heated. In 30 ft of water in Toledo Bend, so it's not from being stuck in the mud. Any ideas what that warning could be? Thanks g |

is it your fish finder beeping ?? or your alert from the engine ???? Mine has a fuel warning beeper.... i would run for about 10 minutes, then slow down and it would beep til i turned off my motor.... it was because my fuel filter was clogged with trash and it was collapsing my bulb.... it could be a number of different things rev...

Most of the time it will be oil level in the tank, water flow, engine temp or oil flow.
It may be engine temp. or water flow due to low flow from idling, if the impeller is worn. Oil flow and level should not change at idle speeds. |

My old 200 Merc. oil inj. pump went out on me 34 miles offshore. No warning, just
started beeping. I took the oil injection system off and mixed the oil after that. I didn't want to mess with that again when offshore with a single engine boat. |
