what do yall do when you catch hardheads? kill em? keep em?

Not many caught on artificial. It's too easy to catch Trout and Reds on artificial, so we don't have to mess with Hardheads.
I did catch one on a Super Spook last winter. Hopefully I won't see that again in my lifetime.

havent caught one i a long long long time.... plastics keep the trout hooked and the hardheads away. back in my juvenille years i used to toss em up like a baseball and smash em with a paddle. childish i know.

best cobia bait there is. clip the spines, hook him under the bone between head and top spine, if there is a ling within two time zones you will catch him

I've heard of people cleaning them right away and frying them and saying it's good. Never tried it

Very low chance to catch hard heads on plastics, but you can catch some trophy sail cats on sandeel jrs.
