Default Got skunked today...

Put the boat in the water around 8 this morning and fished until almost three... ImageUploadedByTapatalk1345947136.138878.jpg didn't catch anything, only had two serious bites. To top it off while I'm stepping back onto the boat to run it up on the trailer, my iPhone goes swimming. All that said...Man it was fun to get out on the water!!! It had been entirely too long since I've fished.

Hate you didn't catch anything but I hate it more that I wasn't on the water at all.

I love fishing that area. The scenery alone is worth the trip. What were you fishing for? In the spring I do pretty good on catfish over there

Our camp is right south of the bridge on hwy 14 and I'm guessing driving piles for the new bridge didn't help the action.
We were fishing for sac-a-lait and bass. I've only fished this area 2 or 3 times so I'm still learning the area. Honestly I was just happy to be on the water again.
