they work ok under way up till about 15 mph then you start getting air under the hull which screws with them some people get better results with different boats and placement. most common place to mount them is back towards the transom i tried once putting it under the console but in my old skeeter the glass was to thick and i got bad readings. works better where the hull flattens out in the back.

are yall talkin bout through the hull models or are yall mounting standard transducers like screw on back of transom

Put it next to the bilge, I never had a problem with mine even at wot 60 mph.

If you Want it for good 2 part epoxy. I usually use clear marine silicone just encased the owner gets another boat and transfers. This will not work in all boats and you just don't stick it anywhere.

shoot thru hull transducers. i have seen people take the transom mounted ones and glue them inside.

i was kinda wonderin. mine has truble mounted on the outside of transom which its 10 yrs old and has the crap knocked of it more then once by stumps and jamed in the mud a few times
