Default 10-24-17 extremely windy Crappie trip.

Went into work today to get a few things done on my scheduled day off. Brought my poles just in case , lol. After getting some pumps and hoses off rent and not able to go get a roll off box to start next project I decided just after lunch to go try my luck. It was cool and very windy. Could not lower line straight down cause wind was blowing it too bad lol. Anyway out there late around 1245 or so which is about the time I been coming back in last several days. It was a slow bite that seemed to come in 2s. Did manage to catch the second largest white perch of the year right at 14". Had several 12"ers! Nice ones! Caught 20 lost 5-6 that got wrapped up in tree top branches and kept 14. Not too bad for a couple hours after work but they are seeming to slow down some at these two holes I been fishing last several days. I may try to go up north in am where I caught that 15 1/2" er and see how my holes are around Dans bay. Will be hard not to try the one straight across camp I been fishing but it needs a break so they can get bunched back up in there. Tight lines everyone!!

Another great trip. I'm hoping the rain doesn't start until late Friday so I can go.

I have to go and try to make a trip out there. Sat my boat up after my last trip to big lake and I usually pull into the 378 launch to rinse out the impeller. Sounds like a good reason. SOON lol
