Default New Ranger Bay 2180

Picked up this 2005 Ranger Bay. Heavy boat, but rides very dry.

Installed an iPad with Navionics for chartplotter and Ray Marine DragonFly Pro5 with Wi-Fish for depth sounder. Also added two more rod holders to console.

Will do, see you already have a spot to mount a power pole controller, looks like there was one before. Engine a two stroke?

nephew has a Ranger like that. incredibly well built and laid out boat. you're right about the ride too. we fish together a lot and we take my Pathfinder if we're going skinny in the marsh and his Ranger if we're going jetties, offshore or open bay on windy days. his has a 250 e-tec. great boat!

That was where the Hydraulic jackplate control was mounted. The pump went out, so I have to replace it one day.

Engine is a fourstroke. Needs a few more ponies, but it'll do the job for the price I paid.

Mounting bracket for the iPad is a Railblaza Screengrabba with a RAM Mount behind it.

What'd your average top speed loaded with that 4stroke? I have the same boat (2001) with a 225 Evinrude with a 19P 3 blade Renegade prop at 50mph and 5700 RPM. Wish it was 10mph faster but that's the only knock on a excellent boat.
